Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on the 14th of May 1964 to an Jewish Family. She is currently the age of 58. Sandra Kolber was her mother, and Gene Kolber was her father. She graduated in 1982 from Upper Dublin High School and Sandy Run Middle School. She received an Associate of Arts In telecommunications 1986 at the University of Miami. As a freshman in college when she was hired at Dynamic Cable as the Sports Director. The company also hired her by Dynamic Cable for a couple of years from 1984 to 1986. Also, she was part of the University of Miami water skiing team during this time. When she was a teenager, Plaza took part in the community theater in her hometown of Wilmington acting, performing improv, and directed one-act plays. While in New York City, Plaza studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and attended an improv course within The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. In 2006, she graduated with an education in production of television and film. A stroke caused her to suffer temporary expressive paraphasia when she was 20 years old.
